We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics, such as your full name, your email address(es), your telephone number(s), your physical address(es), Skype, Zoom or other relevant platform name, any other online identities that you wish to share, financial information (if you purchase a product or service), information about why you require my coaching services or decluttering and organising services and any other information you submit via laurapearsoncoaching.com  
     

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To provide and operate our services

  • To be able to contact our visitors and users with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages

  • For marketing purposes to share news, updates, and information about services and programmes and promote them to you

  • To contact you in regard to organising or delivering a service, programme, course or offer that you have signed up for or purchased

  • To share information, trainings and offerings with you via our newsletter and email communications which you have signed up for

  • To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  • To take payment and provide relevant information to financial services such as HMRC and Accountants

  • To comply with any applicable laws and regulations

 

We may share this information with any legal or financial entity such as HMRC or Accountant Firms in order to comply with regulations.

 

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(b) We have a contractual obligation.
 

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored at my address for business.

We keep your personal information (personal information, pre-programme questionnaires, coaching/service related notes/files and feedback forms), for 3 years, unless you request otherwise. After this, we will delete any personal identifiers from these records. Any paper records will be stored securely in a locked away space and shredded before getting rid of them.

We keep your personal information (submitted through signing up on the website for communications) until you ask to be removed from the communications. We will then dispose your information by deleting all data relating to you (including name, email address and contact information).

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Under Data Protection Law /GDPR Regulations, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
